NOTICE OF VACANCY ON BOARD OF DIRECTORS

This notice is provided pursuant to California Government Code Section 1780 to advise the Minter Field Airport District (MFAD) Board of Directors will consider nominations for the vacant position of Director at its regular meeting on January 15, 2025. 

The person appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office until the next general district election, through 2026, at which time the individual appointed will have the opportunity to run for a four-year term of office.

To be eligible, candidates must be a resident and registered voter of the District (22401 P.U.C.; 201 EL. C.). Eligible Candidates should submit a Statement of Interest by no later than January 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Statements of Interest may be obtained from, and returned to, the Minter Field Airport District Office at 201 Aviation Street, Shafter, CA 93263, or via email at minter@minterfield.com.
